Dubai Airports is working with Etihad Clean Energy Development Company to create the world's biggest rooftop solar panel project at an airport.

This project will be finished by 2026 and will have 62,904 solar panels installed at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). These panels will produce 60,346 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy each year.

该项目的峰值容量为39兆瓦（MWp），每年将减少23,000吨的碳排放。这相当于减少5,000辆汽车上路或为3,000户家庭提供电力。

The project, which has a capacity of 39 megawatts peak (MWp), will cut down carbon emissions by 23,000 tonnes every year. This is like taking 5,000 cars off the road or providing power for 3,000 homes.

产生的太阳能将分别为DXB和DWC提供6.5%和20%的能源需求，有助于机场运营更清洁、更可持续。

The solar energy generated will provide 6.5% of DXB's and 20% of DWC's energy needs, helping to make airport operations cleaner and more sustainable.
